Peace. Rebuilding. And a resumption of the monotonous life of synthetic subservience

Legion’s people and the creators had made peace, and now the two races seemed to share Rannoch in what could be a emotionally satisfying end to one of those many films the humans made. Two sides of a war coming together to rebuild the world.

Legion was never an excited partaker of those films. He preferred those with a low statistical chance of success to shatter mathematical odds and become the victors in the narrative’s premier challenge or obstacle. Mercy was lacking, if not nonexistent for the unsympathetic defeated. High estimation of one’s own prowess, or an unlimited desire for material things. More hardware, an upgraded platform, but in such ways that it would be a organic desire, rather than a synthetic desire. Drawing parallels between those of flesh and those of programming helped Legion develop it’s knowledge. With which to draw closer toward the specifications of it’s race.

But now, there was no priority to do so. The geth had found peace as custodians and servants, although with an increased autonomy. Freedom to pursue their divination of themselves.

But without any major friction, the studies Legion made of organics on his home were inconclusive and redundant. Complacence was not something Legion seeked. Wanderlust, like that of organics, seemed to overcome it. A demand for more data and consensuses to be reached, further studies of the sociology of organics, their own desires as a race and as individuals.

It was contrary to the functioning of its race to leave now. Even attempting to hold a consensus on it was nearing blasphemy. But something told Legion, program or otherwise, that better results would be had if it were back were it felt productive and enthralled, rather than one or the other.

Legion had heard of machines that would rely on wires and constant recharging to function, human technology, from a century or two ago. It did not want to feel antiquated and obsolete. The recharge was complete, and now it may produce results.

Just as soon as it found a way off this planetary body without obstacle. Contact would need to be made with former members of the Normandy server.
